A different way to think about health
Thrive Whole Body Health was born from a simple belief:
We are more than the symptoms we experience, and good health is about more than treating what is wrong.
Our health is shaped by the whole picture of our nervous system, movement, nutrition, hormones, sleep, stress, relationships, environment and the choices we make every day. Sometimes the path to feeling better is straightforward. Sometimes it takes a little more curiosity, a different perspective, or the combined knowledge of more than one health professional.
Thrive was created to make space for that kind of care.
Where it began
Thrive began with Dr Inica Quilliam, a chiropractor with more than 25 years of clinical experience and a long-held desire to create a different kind of health practice.
After years of working with people of all ages and seeing how interconnected their health concerns can be, Inica wanted to create somewhere that felt less like a traditional clinic and more like a place people could come to understand their health, access the right support and take an active role in their wellbeing.
That vision became Thrive Whole Body Health.
Today, chiropractic care is at the heart of Thrive, with Inica continuing to work with individuals and families using her gentle, whole-body approach. But chiropractic is just the beginning.
A place where health professionals work together
Our vision for Thrive is to bring together a carefully chosen group of practitioners who share a common philosophy:
Look at the whole person, work collaboratively and put the individual at the centre of their care.
Over time, Thrive will grow to include complementary health disciplines that can work alongside chiropractic care, creating a connected network of practitioners rather than a collection of unrelated services under one roof.
The aim isn't to have as many practitioners as possible. It is to build the right community of practitioners: people who are excellent at what they do, generous in sharing knowledge, respectful of different approaches and committed to helping their clients achieve meaningful, lasting change.
When the need arises, practitioners can connect, collaborate and refer within the Thrive community, making it easier for people to find the support they need without having to navigate their health journey alone.
More than appointments
We also believe that better health is built between appointments.
That is why the Thrive vision extends beyond one-to-one consultations to include workshops, education, resources, events and carefully selected health and wellbeing products.
Our workshops will create opportunities to learn about the things that affect everyday health, from women's health and hormones to nutrition, movement, stress, sleep and healthy ageing. Our retail offering will be deliberately curated rather than simply stocked, with products selected because they align with the Thrive approach and have a genuine place in supporting wellbeing.
In time, Thrive will become a place where you might come for a consultation, stay for a workshop, discover something that helps you at home, meet other people in your community or simply leave with a better understanding of your own health.
Growing with our community
Thrive is being built for the Huon Valley.
We want it to become a place where people know they can come for thoughtful, professional health support but also somewhere that contributes to the health and connection of the wider community.
Our vision is not to create a high-volume health centre. It is to create something intentional, collaborative and human. A place where good practitioners know one another, where clients feel genuinely seen, and where health education is shared generously.
Thrive will continue to evolve as the right people, ideas and opportunities come together.
What starts with chiropractic will grow into something much bigger: a connected whole-body health community where practitioners, education, products and people come together to help individuals and families thrive.
