The mind behind Thrive...
Meet Dr. Inica
Thrive began many years ago, in its first iteration as State of Balance. Dr Inicas chiropractic business operated and served her patients from for many years in Geelong, Victoria.
In 2021 Dr Inica moved to Tasmania, following her heart, and now in 2026 she begins another new chapter where State of Balance will evolve into Thrive - Whole Body Health in the Huon Valley.
Dr Inica is a registered chiropractor with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and received her qualifications at RMIT. She is also a member of the Australian Chiropractors Association and has recently completed her certification in the Food Matters Nutrition Certification Program.
Having grown up in a family with 3 sisters and then having 2 daughters of her own, Dr Inica has a special interest in women’s health and family health. She is also an advocate of wholefood nutrition and lifestyle, although she can always be tempted by chocolate (usually dark these days) and some other “not so great for your health” choices. She definitely acknowledges we are all on a journey and loves to assist people in becoming better, healthier versions of themselves by making one healthier choice at a time to achieve their state of balance.
A health centre built for the Huon Valley
Thrive was born in the Huon Valley because we believe this community deserves access to high-quality, connected healthcare without having to travel to Hobart to find it.
The Huon is a special place and a community where people value relationships, connection and looking after one another and we wanted to create a health space that reflects those qualities. A place where exceptional practitioners can come together, where different areas of health can connect, and where people can feel genuinely known and supported.
Thrive is our way of investing in the community we live and work in, and creating something we believe has been missing from the Huon Valley: a beautiful, collaborative place where whole-person health is at the centre of everything we do
A different way of thinking about health.
Too often, looking after your health means moving from one practitioner to another, repeating your story, trying to connect the dots yourself and hoping that all the pieces somehow come together.
We wanted to create something different.
Thrive is a collaborative health and wellbeing space where carefully selected practitioners can work alongside one another, bringing different areas of knowledge, experience and expertise together under one roof.
Not because every practitioner needs to think the same way.
But because good health rarely fits neatly into one discipline.
